Tracking hydration and beverages
Logging a drink takes one tap: pick the beverage, pick the container size, done. Calories and nutrition are handled automatically, so a logged coffee or beer counts toward your daily calories with no extra entry. Your hydration progress bar sits on the dashboard, so you always know where the day stands. Hydration tracking is included on the free plan.
How the hydration score works
Not every liquid hydrates equally, so each beverage carries a multiplier instead of counting at face value:
- Water: +100%
- Tea: +90%
- Coffee: +60%
- Beer: -40%
- Wine: -85%
- Spirits: -200%
Example: 2 liters of water plus two coffees (500ml) is 2,500ml of raw liquid, but scores 2,300ml of hydration. The coffee counts, at 60% rather than full value. In imperial, 80 oz of raw liquid scores 74 oz. Alcohol works against you, which is why it's scored negative instead of ignored: counting a glass of wine as hydration would overstate your score.
Your food hydrates you too
The water content of the food you scan (fruit, soup, salad) is added to your hydration score automatically. Most trackers miss this. Log a bowl of soup and your score reflects the liquid in it without you doing anything, so the score follows your total intake and not only the glasses you remembered to log.
Log drinks as they happen rather than reconstructing at night. One tap in the moment beats five guesses at bedtime.
