Delete Your NutriShot AI Account

Option 1: Delete from inside the app

1. Open the NutriShot AI app on your Android or iOS device.
2. Tap the Profile icon in the top right corner.
3. Tap Support.
4. Tap Delete Account and confirm when prompted.
5. Your account and associated data will be queued for deletion immediately.

Option 2: Email a deletion request with your Support ID

NutriShot AI does not store your name or email address on our servers. Accounts are keyed only to an anonymous identifier issued by your OAuth provider (Google or Apple), which we surface in the app as your Support ID. To process an email deletion request, we need this ID so we can locate the correct account.

Step 1: Find your Support ID in the app

1. Open the NutriShot AI app and sign in.
2. Tap the Profile icon in the top right corner.
3. Tap Profile.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap Tap here to copy your Support ID. The ID is copied to your clipboard.

Step 2: Email us your request

Email: support@questopiallc.com

Please include the following:

• The subject line "Account Deletion Request".
• Your Support ID, pasted from the previous step.
• The device platform you use NutriShot AI on (Android or iOS).

We aim to complete email-based deletion requests within 7 business days of receiving your Support ID. Without the Support ID we cannot identify your account, since we do not store names or email addresses on our servers.

What data is deleted

When your deletion request is processed, the following are permanently removed from our systems:

• Your OAuth user identifier and any session data linking you to NutriShot AI.
• Profile inputs you entered in the app, such as height, weight, activity level, and nutrition goals.
• All meal data you logged, including food photos, meal descriptions, calorie totals, and macro and micronutrient entries.
• Hydration entries and water-intake history.
• Subscription and entitlement data stored in our systems that is tied to your account identifier.

What data is kept, and for how long

• Encrypted backups: Deleted records may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days after your deletion request is processed, after which they are permanently purged.
• Anonymous diagnostic data: Crash logs and error reports collected by Sentry that are not linked to your identity may be retained for up to 90 days for debugging purposes.
• Aggregated analytics: Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics that cannot be tied back to you may be retained indefinitely for product improvement.
• Billing and tax records: If you ever held a paid subscription, transaction records may be retained as required by applicable tax, accounting, and consumer-protection laws (typically up to 7 years). These records do not include profile or meal data.
• Health data on your device: Entries written to Apple Health or Health Connect remain on your device under your control. To remove them, use Apple Health or Health Connect on your device directly.

Cancel your subscription first (optional)

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription billed through Apple or Google. To stop future charges, cancel your subscription in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) before requesting deletion.
